SECI Seeks Agency to Hire Professional Support Staff for its Pan India Sites

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated tender inviting bids for the engagement of Agency for the hiring of Professional Support Staff at SECI, New Delhi along with its sites across various locations in the country.

The last date for online submission of bids is June 01, 2020, till 1400 hours and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same day. However, the pre-bid meeting will be held on May 11, 2020, at 1100 hours at the SECI office, New Delhi.

On the process of applying for the tender, SECI said “interested bidders will be able to download the official copy of the tender documents after logging into the ETI website by using the Login ID and Password provided by ETI during registration. The bidder shall only be eligible to submit/ upload the Response to tender after logging into the ETI portal and downloading the official copy.”

Also, there’s no tender fee applicable here, however, the earnest money deposited (EMD) is Rs 22,66,640. Besides, the tender value is Rs 12 crore and the bid process fee is Rs 25,000 non-refundable.

The contract is initially for a period of two years, however, it can be extended for a further 1 year based on the satisfactory performance of the contractor.

Moreover, the hiring agency must be in the area of Engineering, Accounting, Information Technology (IT), Human Resource & Office Administration. Its scope of work includes the deployment of 100-150 numbers of professional support staff on a monthly basis. The manpower numbers are purely indicative and the contractor has to provide the actual number of professional support staff as directed by SECI possessing requisite qualification, experience, etc.
