SECI Issues Three NITs to Set-Up Solar Projects in UP, MP, Andhra

The detailed Request for Selection Document (RfS) for all the three solar power projects in UP, MP and AP respectively will be available for download for interested bidders latest by April 30, 2019.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued three Notice Inviting Tenders (NITs), inviting online bids for the development of solar PV power projects of 1675 MW cumulative capacity in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh respectively.

The first NIT is for setting up of cumulative capacity of 275 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects in UP Solar Park, Uttar Pradesh.

Moreover, the second NIT is for setting up of cumulative capacity of 200 MW (100×2) grid-connected solar PV power projects with 300 MWhr Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Andhra Pradesh.

Further, out of 200 MW cumulative capacity, the 100 MW solar PV power project with 150 MWhr BESS will be set up at Galiveedu site of Ananthapuramu Ultra Mega Solar Park in the state of Andhra Pradesh (AP).

Additionally, the second 100 MW solar PV power project with 150 MWhr BESS will be set up at Talaricheruvu Solar Park in Andhra Pradesh.

Besides, the third NIT is for setting up of 1200 MW ISTS connected solar PV power projects in the state of Madhya Pradesh (ISTS-VI).

Meanwhile, the detailed Request for Selection Document (RfS) for all the three solar power projects in UP, MP and AP respectively will be available for download for interested bidders latest by April 30, 2019.

Recently, SECI has also issued tender inviting bids for setting up of 1800 MW ISTS-Connected Wind Power Projects (Tranche-VIII) on a pan India basis. The detailed Request for Selection (RfS) Document shall be available for downloading by March 29, 2019, onwards.

Recently, amid a host of other tenders being issued by the nodal agency for renewables in the country, the Tranche-VII tender for the development of 1200 MW of ISTS-connected wind power projects in India was issued.

SECI’s Tranche-VI Wind Energy Tender, for 1.2 GW, saw a total of nine developers make bids totalling 2325 MW for the 1200 MW tender.
