SECI Issues NIT for Solar Street Lights, Fox Lights for Wildlife Sanctuary in UP

Central government’s nodal agency Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a notice inviting tenders (NIT) for installing solar street lights and fox lights in Katarniaghat wildlife sanctuary in the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

As per the tender, the successful bidder will be responsible for designing, supplying, developing, manufacturing, installing, testing and commissioning of 100 solar street lights and supply & installation of 50 fox lights including 2 years of AMC around the fringe area of Karikot village in UP.

Further, the last date and time for submitting bids is January 14, 2020 upto 1500 hrs.

The bid processing fee for the tender is Rs 6,000 inclusive of 18 percent GST per bidder, and it’s earnest money deposited (EMD) is Rs 56,000 to be submitted either in the form of bank guarantee or in the form of DD/Pay Order along with the response to NIT in favour of SECI.

However, the bid processing fees and EMD are exempted for MSME vendors/ developers registered under NSIC/ Udyog Aadhaar category only.

Meanwhile, the proprietorship and partnership firms are not allowed to participate in the bidding process (either individually or in joint venture/ consortium).
