SECI Invites Bids To Setup 1200 MW Solar Project

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has released a tender inviting bids for setting up 1200 MW ISTS-connected solar PV power projects in India under Tariff-based Competitive Bidding

The tender document fee – Rs. 29,500

The SECI tender involves an earnest money deposit (Emd/ Bid Bond) of  Rs. 9,42,000

The tender contract performance security - Rs. 23,55,000

SECI project is expected to be completed in period – of 24 months

The pre-bid meeting date – 6th June 2024

The last date for sale of document – 12th June 2024

The bid submission end date (Hard Copy) - Tuesday, 16th June 2024

The cost of the document is Rs. 29,500/- including GST to be submitted through NEFT/ RTGS transfer in the account of SECI, along with the response to RfS

The bid processing fee - Rs. 5 Lakh with taxes for each project from 50 MW up to 99 MW Rs. 15 Lakh + applicable taxes for each Project from 100 MW and above

The document EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) is Rs. 9,42,000/- per MW per Project to be submitted in the form of a Bank Guarantee along with the response to RfS

The document mentioned, “The successful bidder is expected to submit a performance bank guarantee (PBG) for Rs. 23,55,000/MW/Project before signing of PPA.
