The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued its latest Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar modules. The updated list includes six new entrants, most of which are based in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
The new entrants into the ALMM (Modules) include Vikram Solar’s Tamil Nadu plant, Army Solar, Sahjanand Green Energy, Best Apartment Pvt Ltd, Rajdeep Solar, and Startup Energy.
Vikram Solar’s Kancheepuram plant in Tamil Nadu has been enlisted with a total capacity of 3,358 MW. The approved models from the facility include glass-to-glass bifacial N-type TOPCon modules. Meanwhile, Rajasthan-based Startup Energy Pvt Ltd entered the list with a total capacity of 1,034 MW, also producing glass-to-glass bifacial N-type TOPCon modules.
New Entrants

Surat-based Army Solar was enlisted with a capacity of 622 MW, manufacturing the same module technology. Another Surat-based entrant, Sahjanand Green Energy, secured enlistment with a capacity of 193 MW. The company will produce both mono-PERC and N-type TOPCon glass-to-glass modules.
Rajdeep Solar Energy also entered the list with a capacity of 194 MW and will manufacture glass-to-transparent backsheet mono-PERC modules.
Jaipur-based Best Apartment Pvt Ltd was enlisted with a total capacity of 1,105 MW. As per the ALMM listing, the company will produce glass-to-glass N-type TOPCon modules.
Capacity Additions
Companies that added new capacities include Insolation Energy, Swelect HHV Solar, Nithin Sai Renewables, Solex Energy, Macwin Solar, and Websol Energy System. Goldi Sun Pvt Ltd also added new glass-to-glass N-type TOPCon modules.
According to the latest list, there are 120 enlisted solar module manufacturing facilities with a combined capacity of approximately 113 GW. Waaree Energies continues to lead the list with a capacity of around 17 GW.
