Rajat Kumar Singh Joins Acme Solar As Its New Group CFO

Acme Solar has appointed Rajat Kumar Singh as its Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has also been designated as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) and Senior Management Personnel (SMP), the company said in a regulatory filing.

Sharing Singh’s brief educational background, Acme Solar said, “Rajat Kumar Singh holds a bachelor’s degree in technology (Chemical Technology) from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur (1992) and a master’s in business administration from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (1996).”

Giving a brief overview of Singh’s previous role, Acme Solar said, “Before joining our Company, he was associated with Lodha Group as President of Finance; Adani Group as Group Head of Resources, Chief Financial Officer and Joint President, Finance; Reliance Infrastructure Limited as Senior Executive Vice President, Finance; GMR Infrastructure as AGM Business Development, working in Airports business and Project Finance; Steel Authority of India in Construction Finance Department as Junior Manager, Finance; and DCM Shriram as Assistant Engineer, Plant Operations.”

The company further added, “He has about 32 years of experience across the energy, transport, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. His expertise lies in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within regulated industries, including conventional and renewable energy, toll/annuity roads, airports, urban transport, manufacturing, logistics, and real estate.”

Acme Solar further explained that Rajat Kumar Singh will take over this new role from Purushottam Kejriwal, who will transition from his role as a Key Managerial Personnel. Acme Solar explained he will, however, continue to play an active role in the company’s leadership, bringing the benefit of his deep institutional knowledge and experience to ongoing financial and strategic matters.
