Municipal Corporation of Jodhpur has invited bids for providing consultancy and advisory services for the development of a 10 MW solar project in Rajasthan
The Municipal Corporation of Jodhpur has invited bids from eligible parties for providing consultancy and advisory services for the development of a 10 MW solar power project in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
The last date for bid submission is August 5, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on August 6, 2019. The estimated cost of the tender is Rs 10 lakhs, and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 20 thousand.
The overall scope of work of the technical consultant shall involve end to end support i.e. from concept to commissioning and subsequent monitoring of O&M activities, complete handholding and support in preparation, coordination and implementation of a 10 MW solar power plant for Jodhpur municipal corporation, including support on technical, financial and regulatory matters.
Under the technical consultancy provisions, the consultant shall ensure that all design work fully complies with all applicable laws and standards. They shall also review all the drawings and documents submitted by the contractor, as listed below,
i. Review of detailed engineering and vendor engineering documents
ii. Conducting design coordination meetings with the JMC & contractor as and when required
iii. Review of detailed engineering and vendor engineering documents
iv. Value engineering
Under the project management consultancy provisions, the consultant shall be required to review the project execution, as brought out below
i. Project organization structure detailing the escalation matrix and communication protocol
ii. Review project schedule
iii. Review execution methodology
iv. Review of Procurement plan and activities
v. Day to day correspondences for the execution including contractual issues.
vi. Project Feasibility report
To be eligible, the bidders must have experience of having successfully completed similar consultancy services for the solar project, during the last three years from the date of issue of tender enquiry.
In March, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) issued a similar tender seeking engineering consultancy for the work of revision of 6 MW solar PV power plant at the Kadapa Airport in Chennai.
