The company, in a regulatory filing, said it would carry out EPC activities such as design, engineering, supply, construction, installation, and commissioning of a 75 MW solar power plant. The project will also include a 111.57 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Rajasthan.

The company further added, “The total value of the project will be approximately ₹476.13 crore, including GST. This project marks a major step forward for the company in integrating solar power with advanced energy storage solutions, further strengthening our contribution to India’s clean energy journey. The project is expected to be completed within eight months from the date of the order and receipt of the advance.”

Parveen Kumar, Co-founder of Oriana Power, said during the last investor call, “Oriana Power is going to build a 400 MW energy storage system with the Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu governments, utilizing abundant sources of storage. We can flatten the dynamic demand profile, stabilize the grid, and increase the utilization of India’s fast-growing solar power capacity, ultimately moving our country toward energy self-reliance and complete energy security.”

Parveen Kumar also shared the company's plan to add 403 MW BESS storage capacity in the upcoming years. The company said, "We have been awarded 3-4 contracts of 100 MWh each by the Rajasthan Government, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Similarly, for the BESS also we have also made a commitment of 3.5 GWh additional portfolio by FY 2030, but I think, with the current aggressive market requirements and opportunities which we are looking at, this target can be achieved early than FY 2030."

Sharing the company's past achievement and expansion plan, he stated, "So last year we already discussed that a 400-plus MW project has been delivered, and 550 MW of projects are under execution. We have an additional 700 MW hours under pipeline for this year. We are targeting that we should meet the target of 1 GW for the solar capacity, and for the battery energy storage, also we have set a target of one GW hour plus."
