The company posted a net profit of ₹1,306.62 crore for Q4 FY25, compared to ₹1,045.59 crore in the same quarter last year. However, profit was slightly lower than the previous quarter’s ₹1,376.17 crore. Revenue from operations in Q4 rose to ₹17,446.95 crore, up 6 percent from ₹16,463.94 crore in the year-ago quarter and 10.5 percent higher than ₹15,793.43 crore reported in Q3 FY25. For the full financial year, Tata Power’s consolidated revenue grew 5.9 percent to ₹66,992.17 crore from ₹63,272.32 crore in FY24. Annual net profit surged 33.7 percent to ₹5,723.62 crore, against ₹4,280.10 crore a year earlier. The company attributed the performance to improved cost management, increased contribution from renewable and transmission businesses, and disciplined capital allocation. Tata Power continues to invest in clean energy projects and grid infrastructure, aligning with India’s push for energy transition and sustainability. Praveer Sinha, CEO and Managing Director, Tata Power, said “FY25 has been a remarkable year for Tata Power, with the company achieving a record-breaking PAT exceeding ₹5000 crore, driven by exceptional contributions across all our business segments. Q4FY25 marks 22nd consecutive quarter of PAT growth, highlighted by several significant milestones,” He also added, “For the first time, we surpassed 1 GW in renewable capacity additions within a single year and are now targeting 2 GW in FY26. Our rooftop solar business has performed impressively, reaching over 1.5 lakh installations, with a total installed capacity of 3 GW. Additionally, our 4.3 GW cell and 4.3 GW module manufacturing facility in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu produced 3,291 MW of modules and 846 MW of cells during the year.
