Q1 FY25: Shakti Pumps Reports 4.5% YoY Rise, Profit & Revenue Up 9.7%
Indore-based solar water pumping systems manufacturer Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd reported a 4.5% year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit to ₹96.8 crore for the first quarter (Q1), up from ₹92.6 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue for the quarter rose to ₹622 crore, marking a 9.7% increase from ₹136 crore a year earlier. However, the company’s EBITDA margin declined to 23.06% from 23.94% YoY.
Despite the margin contraction, the company recorded positive growth across key financial indicators, including a 10% YoY increase in revenue and a 6% YoY rise in EBITDA, contributing to the uptick in net profit.
Segment-wise Revenue Performance
Shakti Pumps attributed the revenue surge to an increase in income from operations, which rose to ₹624.39 crore in June 2025, compared to ₹570.52 crore in March 2025.
Revenue from domestic operations stood at ₹135.79 crore, up from ₹130.63 crore a year ago, while overseas operations generated ₹3.66 crore, rising from ₹3.42 crore last year. Combined, the company's total segment profit rose to ₹139.42 crore in 2025, up from ₹134.05 crore in the previous year.
March FY25 Financial Results: Profit Nearly Triples
For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, Shakti Pumps posted a sharp 84.3% YoY growth in annual revenue and nearly tripled its net profit, supported by strong demand and operational efficiency.
In the fourth quarter (Q4 FY25), the company reported a revenue of ₹669.76 crore, a 9.8% increase from ₹610.13 crore in Q4 FY24. On a sequential basis, revenue rose 2.6% from ₹652.73 crore in Q3 FY25. Net profit for Q4 FY25 stood at ₹110.23 crore, up 22.9% YoY and 5.9% higher than the ₹104.05 crore reported in Q3 FY25, continuing the company's upward trajectory in profitability.
