Pom Power Pines Hopes On Hybrid Inverters To Spur Growth By Manish Kumar/ Updated On Tue, May 6th, 2025 Pom Power Pines Hopes On Hybrid Inverters To Spur Growth Energy solutions company POM Power has now planned to spur its growth in the solar inverter market with its latest series of hybrid solar inverters. The top management of the firm is now overwhelmed with the launch of their latest hybrid inverters. At the latest RenewX, Chennai, the form showcased its latest range of hybrid inverters, ranging from 3 kW to 50 kW. IB Rao, Managing Director of POM Power, emphasized the company’s commitment to offering comprehensive energy solutions for diverse sectors. Wide Series of Hybrid Inverters “We are excited to present our innovative hybrid inverters, which now include models with built-in lithium-ion batteries in capacities of 3 kW, 5 kW, and 10 kW. These combo units, which combine inverters and batteries into a single unit, are designed to provide efficient and reliable power solutions,” said IB Rao. “Additionally, we offer energy storage systems in containerized solutions, ranging from 1 MW to 5 MW, featuring advanced lithium-ion technology.” Rao further highlighted the company’s commitment to providing tailored energy solutions, noting that many Chinese solar inverter manufacturers cannot match the variety and flexibility that POM Power offers. “We are proud to offer solar inverters up to 250 kW, covering residential, commercial, and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications,” he added. Climate resilient structures POM Power’s inverters are built to withstand extreme conditions, with the ability to operate in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 50°C. The company’s containerized systems come with integrated cooling systems to ensure optimal performance in high-temperature environments. Looking ahead, POM Power is also exploring the potential of microinverters. “We are planning to work on hybrid solar microinverters, which will not only support solar power but also be compatible with non-solar applications,” Rao shared. The company is also addressing the growing interest in hybrid systems for residential homes, which traditionally used grid-tied inverters. “With the increasing demand for reliable power backup, people are now looking at hybrid inverters. These systems can provide power when the grid is down, and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has approved them under the subsidy scheme,” IB Rao concluded.
