Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually dedicated four power stations of SJVN to the nation. These projects included the 60 MW Naitwar Mori hydropower station project in Uttarakhand, 75 MW Parasan solar power station, 75 MW Gurhah solar power station, and 50 MW Gujrai solar power station in Uttar Pradesh in Adilabad, Telangana.

The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of SJVN’s projects viz 382 MW Sunni Dam hydro-electric project and 15 MW Nangal floating solar power project in Himachal Pradesh. It also included a 70 MW solar project in Assam. These hydro and solar power projects are expected to contribute to the nation's goal of achieving a net zero-carbon emission economy by 2070.

Prime Minister Modi dedicated these projects to the nation, laid the foundation stone, and inaugurated power and infrastructural projects of more than Rs 56 thousand crores.

The Chairperson and Managing Director (CMD) of SJVN, Geeta Kapur reaffirmed SJVN's dedication to achieving 500 GW installed capacity from non-fossil fuel-based energy resources by 2030.

These seven projects, totaled to 727 MW in capacity have an investment cost of 5515 crores. They are expected to generate 2255 million units of energy annually and will reduce 20,10,941 tonnes of carbon emissions per year. SJVN, a power sector CPSE, has diversified its business into almost all forms of energy i.e. Hydro, Thermal, Wind, Solar, Power Trading, and Power Transmission. The company is marching ahead to achieve the Shared Vision of 25000 MW by 2030 and 50000 MW installed capacity by 2040.
