PM-KUSUM: Saatvik Green Gets 1,500 Solar Pump Order From MSEDCL

Saatvik Green said the order spans multiple districts across Maharashtra and will cover capacities of 3HP, 5HP, and 7.5HP DC solar submersible pump sets.

KUSUM Comp B: Saatvik Green Gets LoA From MSEDCL to Set Up 1,500 Solar Water Pumps

Gurugram-based Saatvik Green Energy has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). It secured the order for the installation of 1,500 solar water pumping systems. The company, while sharing these details in a release, said that it secured this project under the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY) / PM-Kusum – B Scheme (2025–2026).

Sharing the project details, it said the order spans multiple districts across Maharashtra and will cover capacities of 3HP, 5HP, and 7.5HP DC solar submersible pump sets.

Scope of Work

This win marks a significant milestone for Saatvik in the solar agriculture domain, following its earlier expansion into solar-powered pumps in Maharashtra. Saatvik Green Energy Limited, sharing the scope of work for the project, said, "It will undertake the design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of off-grid DC solar PV water pumping systems directly at farmers’ sites.  The contract also includes a five-year system warranty, repair and maintenance, and a remote monitoring system (RMS) to ensure long-term reliability and farmer satisfaction."

Speaking on the achievement, Prashant Mathur, CEO, Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said:“We are proud to partner with MSEDCL on this important initiative. Solar-powered irrigation not only empowers farmers by providing reliable water access but also supports India’s larger goal of sustainable and self-reliant agriculture.”
