Pace Digitek Subsidiary Lineage Secures Rs. 99.7 Cr LFP BESS Order From Advait Greenenergy

Bengaluru-based Pace Digitek's Lineage Power has received a Rs. 99.7crore (including taxes) project order (PO) from Advait Greenergy for LFP Battery Energy Storage System and other related equipment. The company said in a regulatory filing that it secured the latest order for the Purchase of an Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Battery Energy Storage System and other related equipment.  

The initial delivery to Advait would occur within 102 days from the effective date, and all subsequent deliveries are required to be completed within 31 days following the first shipment. This takes a total of 133 days from the effective date, or as per the schedule provided by the Buyer. Pace Digitek said it would schedule the delivery of the first 50% of the BESS DC blocks by the 15th March 2026 and supply the entire balance system by April 15th, 2026.

Lithium-Ion Battery

Pace Digitek’s Director, Rajavendhan P., has previously explained that the company uses imported lithium-ion cells in its battery energy storage systems to manage selling prices. He said the company maintains a product margin of 15% to 18%.

The company is currently focusing on selling battery energy storage systems in a containerized format, which requires imported lithium-ion cells as the primary raw material.

Rajavendhan further explained the pricing advantage created by the difference in import duties on raw materials versus finished goods. He said that when other parties import a fully built containerized storage system as a finished product, they pay around 20% duty. In contrast, Pace Digitek imports lithium-ion cells—the raw material—at a much lower 5% customs duty.

He noted that this differential creates a clear pricing arbitrage, giving the company an advantage. Pace Digitek also signs back-to-back agreements with suppliers once it secures orders, allowing it to freeze prices and avoid exposure to fluctuations in global lithium-ion cell rates.
