Haryana-based Oswal Pumps Limited’s subsidiary, Oswal Solar Energy Private Limited, has secured an order from Swashakthi Energy for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 7.46 MWp rooftop solar systems.
In a press release, Oswal Pumps said that the order, valued at ₹39.40 crore (inclusive of GST), marks the company’s entry into the rooftop solar segment, creating a strategic pathway for participation under the Government of India’s flagship initiative, PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
Scope of Work
Swashakthi Energy has been awarded 7.46 MWp of Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar (RTS) projects by the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. (NREDCAP) under the Surya Ghar scheme. As part of this allocation, M/s Swashakthi Energy has assigned Oswal Solar Energy Private Limited for fulfilment of the order.
The scope of this order includes complete Design, Engineering, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of 7.46 MWp grid-connected rooftop solar systems, along with a five-year Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC). These systems will be installed for 3,729 SC & ST consumers across the Pulivendula and Puttaparthy divisions under APSPDCL in Andhra Pradesh.
With this project, Oswal Pumps takes an important step forward in expanding its presence in solar energy solutions and supporting the nation’s sustainable growth ambitions.
