Oriana Power has recently received a Letter of Award (LOA) to design, supply, install, and commission a 3.0 MW (AC) grid-tied solar photovoltaic system at Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri, Guyana, South America.

The company said in a regulatory filing that the project will be developed at Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri, Guyana, for US$2,487,170. The company is expected to complete this project within 36 months from the date of receipt of the LOA.

Expanding International Footprint

Oriana Power has previously worked on several other international projects. In 2017, the company marked its first international footprint in Kenya, Africa, and later in 2025, it signed its first international Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia through an MoU with Invest Alberta.

These latest projects align with the government’s vision for domestic and international markets, ensuring steady business across verticals. The company has also shared plans to explore partnerships and joint development agreements. Previously, the company closed an agreement with Actis for developing 1 GW of renewable assets with a USD 100 million equity commitment over two years.
