Oben Launches Rorr EZ Sigma with Safety Upgrades and TFT Display

Indian EV startup Oben Electric has launched the Rorr EZ Sigma, an upgraded version of its electric motorcycle. Bookings are now open with a token amount of INR 2,999, and customer deliveries will begin from August 15, 2025, through Oben showrooms across India.

Tailor-Made for Indian Roads

Built on Oben’s indigenous ARX frame, the Rorr EZ Sigma offers 200 mm ground clearance and a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock suspension for stable rides on uneven urban terrain. It includes Unified Brake Assist (UBA) for improved braking control and a Driver Alert System (DAS) to notify riders when the vehicle is powered on.

Additional safety and protection features include - 130/70-17 wide tyres for better road grip, 230 mm water-wading depth for rainy conditions, and Geo-fencing-based theft protection, battery theft lock, and vandalism protection.

Powertrain and New Features

The Rorr EZ Sigma comes in two battery configurations. The 3.4 kWh pack offers an IDC range of 140 km, and a 4.4 kWh pack with a range of up to 175 km. Both support fast charging from 0 to 80 percent in 1.5 hours.

Performance-wise, the bike delivers a top speed of 95 kmph and accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds. It features three ride modes: Eco, City, and Havoc.

New upgrades on the Sigma variant include a 5-inch colour TFT display (replacing the standard LCD), which provides turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and a trip meter. A reverse mode has also been added, along with a redesigned seat for enhanced rider comfort.

Pricing and Battery Warranty

The Rorr EZ Sigma is priced at INR 1.27 lakh for the 3.4 kWh variant, and INR 1.37 lakh for the 4.4 kWh variant. These are introductory prices, with the prices set to rise to INR 1.47 lakh and INR 1.55 lakh, respectively, after the initial phase. The Sigma variant is priced INR 7,000 higher than the standard Rorr EZ.

Oben is also offering the Battery Protect 8/80 Plan at INR 9,999, providing an 8-year or 80,000 km transferable battery warranty, intended to increase long-term value and resale potential. The Rorr EZ Sigma can be booked online via Amazon or at Oben showrooms.
