NTPC Tenders for BOS Package for 735 MW Nokh Solar Park

NTPC has issued a tender for the Balance of System (BOS) package for the development of 735 MW (3X245) Nokh Solar Project in Rajasthan, India.

NTPC Limited has issued a tender, inviting online bids from eligible bidders for the Balance of System (BOS) package for the development of 735 MW (3X245) Nokh Solar Project in Rajasthan, India.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, manufacturing,  supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic excluding supply of Solar PV modules.

The last date for bid submission is April 27, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on April 28, 2020. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for April 13, 2020, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders.

To be eligible for participating in the bidding process, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of Balance of System of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 40 MW or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 10 MW or higher capacity. The reference plant of 10 MW or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

Financially, the average turnover of the bidder should not be less than the financial figure as mentioned in the table below, during the preceding three financial years.

And the net worth of the bidder as on the last day of the preceding financial year should not be less than 100 percent of bidder’s paid-up share capital.

Recently, NTPC had issued a tender for the development of a 50 MW grid-connected solar PV power project at Panchet in Jharkhand. The scope of work for the selected bidders shall cover design, engineering, manufacturing, commissioning of the solar PV project on approximately 290 acres of land at Panchet. The scope will also include operation and maintenance of the solar plant including plant infrastructure for 25 years on the basis of a single point responsibility.

The last date for bid submission is March 30, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on March 31, 2020.
