NTPC Tenders for 80 kW Off-Grid Rooftop Solar Plants in Madhya Pradesh

NTPC has tendered for setting up of off-grid solar power projects worth a cumulative capacity of 80 kW at two locations in Madhya Pradesh.

NTPC has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible bidders for setting up of off-grid solar power projects worth a cumulative capacity of 80 kW at two locations in Madhya Pradesh.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of two 40 kWp off-grid, battery backed-up solar power plant at the Seva Kunj, Chapki, Madhya Pradesh. The first project of 40 kW capacity which will be installed at the school rooftop and other 40 kW plant shall be installed at the hostel building. The developers will have a period of 3 months or 90 days from the date of issuance of the letter of award to complete the work on the project.

The deadline for bid submission is November 25, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on November 18, 2019. As per the tender, all the bidders will be required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 1 lakh along with their bids.

Recently, NTPC had issued two tenders, inviting bids from eligible bidders for setting up of grid-connected solar rooftop projects worth a combined 130 kW capacity to be developed in Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.

The first tender had been issued for setting up of 100 kW rooftop solar PV systems at the Singrauli Super Thermal Power Station (SSTPS) that is owned and operated by NTPC in Uttar Pradesh.  The rooftop systems will be developed as two different projects of 50 kW capacity each on pre-selected sites in the SSTPS township. The last date for bid submission is November 11, 2019.

The second tender has been issued for the design, supply, erection and commissioning of a grid-connected rooftop solar system of 30 kW capacity at the VIP guest house of NTPC Koldam in Himachal Pradesh. The last date for bid submission on the tender is October 31, 2019.
