NTPC has tendered for setting up of 250 kW rooftop solar PV power plant at its Eastern Region HQ complex in Patna, Bihar.

NTPC Ltd has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible bidders, for setting up of a 250 kW rooftop solar PV power plant at its Eastern Region HQ complex in Patna, Bihar. 

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar plant at the ERHQ complex. The developers will have a period of 9 months from the date of award to complete the work on the commissioning of the project. After the completion of work on the project, the developers will be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the rooftop system for a period of 5 years.

The last date for bid submission is February 8, 2021, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on February 9, 2021. The date and time of price bid openings will be intimated by NTPC later. All bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2 lakh with their bids.

To be eligible for participating in the bidding process, the bidders must have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised erection, commissioned/ supervised commissioning and done O&M of a solar grid-connected power plant for at least one plant of 100 kWp or above and cumulative capacity of 200 kWp or above. And the reference plant of 100 kWp or above capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

Financially, the average annual turnover in the preceding three consecutive financial years as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening, should not be less than Rs 1.18 crore. And, the net worth of the bidder should not be less than 100 percent of its paid-up share capital.
