NTPC Invites Vendor Enlistment Bids For 20 MWP Solar Project In UP

National Thermal Corporation of India (NTPC) released a tender for 20 MWp project in Uttar Pradesh (UP) for enlistment of EPC vendors to develop rooftop and ground mounted solar PV in one tender.

The company specified the technical criterion for the bidder, to have designed/ engineered, supplied, erected/ supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) project. These grids connected power plant(s) project are expected to have a cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher, out of which at least one Solar Photo Voltaic plant should have been of 40 kWp or higher capacity. The reference plant of 40 kWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last date of submission of application for enlistment.

Other qualifications include, “The bidder should be a developer of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 400 kWp or higher. At least one solar photovoltaic plant should have been of 40 kWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months prior to the last date of submission of application for enlistment.”

Additionally, “The bidder should have executed in the last 10 years an industrial project either as developer or as EPC Contractor in the area of power/ steel/ oil and gas/ petrochemical/ fertilizer/cement/coal mining. It included coal handling plant and/ or any other process industry, of a value of INR 40 million INR or more in a single project or single work respectively. The same should be in successful operation for at least one year prior to techno commercial bid opening date.”

Other qualifications are, “The Bidder should have executed at least one electrical sub-station of 11 kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 11 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers. Power transformer, either as developer or as EPC Contractor which should be in successful operation for at least one year prior to techno commercial bid opening date.”

The closing date for the bids is 17th April 2024 at 12:00
