NTPC Invites Bid for Development of Smart Townships

The successful bidder will provide comprehensive O&M services to the project as well as a transmission system for a period of three years.

National Thermal Power Corporation, India’s largest power producer has issued a tender for the Implementation of Renewable Package for Smart Township Initiative in Solapur in Maharashtra and and Khargone in Madhya Pradesh.

The brief scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of the following sub systems: Rooftop solar PV, Ground mounted solar PV, Solar tree and gazebo PV, Solar carports

The successful bidder will provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services to the project as well as a transmission system for a period of three years from the date of the successful completion of a trial run, the tender document said.

The last date for bid submission is January 17, 2019. The techno-commercial bid will open on January 18, 2019.

The eligibility criteria states that the  Bidder  should  have  designed,  supplied,  erected/supervised  erection  and commissioned/supervised  commissioning  of  SPV  based  grid  connected  power  plant  of atleast one plant of 100 kWp or above and cumulative capacity of 880 kWp or above.

The reference plant of 100 kWp or above capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

The average annual turnover of the Bidder, should not be less than Rs 718 lakhs during the preceding three completed financial years as on date of techno-commercial bid opening.
