NTPC Green Expansion & Investment Plans
With plans to incur a capex of around ₹30,000 crore, NTPC's management said in an investor presentation that in the financial year 2025-26, it is going to incur a capex of around ₹30,000 crore. It also mentioned plans to incur these finances through debt and equity.
The company hinted that this is the level of capex that is going to come in this financial year. For the next financial year, the company said it will further increase the capex to around ₹45,000 crore to ₹46,000 crore.

NTPC Green Project Pipeline
NTPC Green also mentioned that its work for Ayana and the Renewable Energy Round-The-Clock (RE-RTC) project is progressing steadily and that those projects are going to be commissioned almost by the end of this year.
On the completion of the balance renewable energy projects, which have not yet been done, the company's management said, that its carefully choosing new tenders, expanding capacity in parallel, and expect to secure good PPAs—both through bidding and from C&I buyers—to address its project pipeline challenges.
The management said, "We are judiciously approaching all the TBCB tenders which are coming up. And because the capacity addition is going on in parallel, we are hopeful that we will be able to get into good PPAs through the TBCB route, and the C&I customers we have been approaching. So, that challenge would be addressed that way."
