The Second Index & Dashboard 2019 will be released at the Niti Aayog office in New Delhi on December 30, 2019.

The report documents the progress made by States and Union Territories (UTs) of India towards the implementation of 2030 SDG targets.

Further, the SDG India Index and Dashboard 2019–20 have been developed jointly by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), the United Nations in India, and the Global Green Growth Institute.

The SDG India Index tool was first launched in December last year. It was the first tool developed by any large country to monitor the progress towards achieving SDGs at the sub-national level.

This tool tracks the progress of along with the ranks of all the States and UTs on 100 indicators drawn from the MoSPI’s National Indicator Framework, comprising 306 indicators.
