NISE to Organise Skill Development Prog on Solar PV System Design

The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is organizing its 23rd skill development program on solar photovoltaic (PV) system design using “PVSYST & PVSOL” software with cost economics and policies.

NISE Solar Skill Program

This is a five day training programme which will commence from February 03, 2020 and will end on February 07, 2020.

The motive behind the programme is to provide understanding about an off-grid system, on-grid system and hybrid system.

The training will also be provided about the solar power plant design with the help of simulation software. It will cover project phase, orientation of modules, solar components, user’s needs, near and far shading analysis, different loss analysis, simulation result and discussion.

The program will also offer knowledge about the various steps involved in the execution of solar power plant, along with different development phases in the installation of the plant.

Moreover, the vision of this programme is to enable participants in order to design and simulate SPV System.

The program will help in imparting knowledge and providing proper training to participants and enable them to become a solar professional.

The target audience of the program is Graduate Engineers with basic knowledge of electronics, mechanical, electrical & civil engineering, renewable energy, solar energy; solar entrepreneurs; scientists, researchers, engineering college faculty, MNRE channel partners; C.A., senior energy department officials of Govt. of India and officers from state nodal agencies etc.

Further, the training fee for the program is Rs 25,000 plus GST at the rate of 18 percent (Rs 29,500/-) per participant including access to all the lectures, certification; tea and lunch will be provided.
