Neuron and Rilox Cross 10,000 Li-Ion Battery Deployments in Commercial EV Segment

Neuron Energy has announced a significant milestone in its partnership with Rilox EV, surpassing 10,000 lithium-ion battery deployments across commercial electric vehicles operating in high-usage environments across India.

The achievement underscores the scale at which advanced battery systems are now supporting India’s commercial electric mobility ecosystem.

Expanding Commercial EV Footprint

Over the past four years, Rilox EV has transitioned into a full-scale commercial mobility OEM, deploying more than 10,000 electric vehicles nationwide. The company has also established a dealer network of over 75 partners, strengthening its presence across multiple Indian states.

Rilox’s two-wheeler (e2w) and three-wheeler (e3w) electric platforms cater to high-demand segments, including logistics, gig economy services, and small and medium-sized enterprises. These vehicles operate across varied and often demanding terrains, where uptime, reliability, and durability have a direct impact on fleet profitability.

Designed for high-utilisation applications, Rilox EV’s commercial fleet depends on consistent battery performance to minimise downtime. Neuron Energy’s lithium-ion systems are engineered to deliver stable power output, enhanced thermal management, and long cycle life.

These features enable fleet operators to maintain operational continuity while lowering running costs. The collaboration also contributes to reduced emissions and improved total cost of ownership, strengthening the economic case for electric vehicles in commercial use cases.

Building on this achievement, the two companies are formalising an exclusive long-term technology partnership aligned with Rilox EV’s expansion strategy. Under this framework, Neuron Energy will transition from being primarily a supply partner to serving as an integrated technology collaborator.

The collaboration will focus on advanced battery vehicle integration, co-development of next-generation platforms, synchronised manufacturing planning based on demand forecasts, intelligent energy management systems, and fleet performance optimisation.
