Evervolt Solar Technology has entered the ALMM-II list for the first time with an enlisted annual capacity of 1,074 MW. According to the company’s submission, it will manufacture mono-PERC solar cells sized 182.2 mm × 182.2 mm with 10 busbars, with efficiencies ranging from 22% to 23.5%. This was the only new company added in the latest revision.

New Models Introduced

Meanwhile, three existing manufacturers reported additions of new models. Mundra (Adani) Solar introduced a new bifacial n-type TOPCon cell with dimensions of 182.3 mm × 210 mm and an efficiency range of 24.5% to 25.7%, as per ministry data. Hyderabad-based Premier Energies also listed a new model — PE Blue Shark n-type TOPCon 16BB — comprising bifacial n-type TOPCon solar cells in the G12R format with 16 busbars and a claimed efficiency range of 24% to 26%. With these updates, the ALMM-II list for solar cells now includes 10 manufacturers registered with the government.

The list is expected to expand further this year as the ministry plans to mandate that Indian module manufacturers procure solar cells only from ALMM-listed suppliers. Although the current list includes just 10 cell manufacturers, more than 60 module manufacturers have announced plans to establish solar cell production lines, with tentative commissioning timelines spanning 2026 and 2027.
