“The company has been awarded this contract after successful completion of performance test in record time in stringent condition at farmer’s place,” the spokesperson added.
Lubi Solar, which is a division of Lubi Electronics, has bagged an order for installation, commissioning and maintenance of Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) water pumping systems in Nagpur and Pune cities of Maharashtra.

Further, this order has been secured by the company under Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) tender and these solar pumps will be installed under the “Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Pump Yojana” for 5 Years.
The company spokesperson when contacted said that, “Lubi Electronics feels proud by becoming empanelled channel partner with MSEDCL to install the solar water pump sets in Maharashtra under the scheme of “Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Pump Yojana”.
“The company has been awarded this contract after successful completion of performance test in record time in stringent condition at farmer’s place,” the spokesperson added.
As per the contract, the company will install 5 HP DC solar water pump sets in Nagpur & Pune regions.
Under this scheme, the state government has targeted to deploy 1,00,000 nos. of off-grid solar powered Ag pumps in phased manner within three years.
In phase-1, a total of 25000 nos. of solar water pump sets will be installed across the state of Maharashtra.
On the other hand, 50,000 and 25,000 pump sets will be installed during the phase-2 and phase-3 respectively.
As per the scheme, only those farmers are eligible who have their farmland with assured source of water.
However, farmers having conventional electricity connection shall not get benefit of Solar AG Pump from this scheme.
Meanwhile, farmers from remote & tribal areas are eligible for the scheme along with the farmers from areas which are not electrified through conventional source of energy (i.e. by MSEDCL).
