LONGi Solar Partners with Krannich Solar To Jointly Serve Indian PV Market

China’s high-efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells and modules producer LONGi Solar has announced a new partnership with Krannich Solar, a Germany-headquartered PV modules wholesaler. This partnership has been established for the expansion of their relationship in India.

The companies claim that their collaboration is in line with their vision to exchange each other’s expertise and jointly serve the Indian PV market with PV modules through the distribution channel.

Having a production capacity of over 50 GW, LONGi will continue to grow its footprint in the Indian subcontinent to ensure its products are delivered to the region. The company was named India’s market leader based on module shipments in 2020, according to a study released this year by Gurugram-based research firm JMK Research. The firm’s total module shipments for India were estimated to be around 9478 MW in 2020.

Krannich Solar has supported PV installers since its foundation in 1995. The company offers a wide range of products, along with its complementary services including expert advice, effective logistics, and technical support.

“We are pleased to sign a partnership agreement with Longi Solar and are excited to work together. With this partnership, we are enriching our portfolio with the world’s leading monocrystalline solar modules. We have a partner that not only offers outstanding PV modules but has an excellent reputation for its quality and reliability” said Sandeep Banodiya, Sales Director Sales of Krannich Solar.

He further added, “With our years of distribution expertise and having the world’s leading PV brand in the portfolio, Krannich is well-positioned to supply cleaner and reliable energy to every corner of the country”.

Last year, Krannich Solar collaborated with a German manufacturer SMA Solar Technology to include SMA inverters in its portfolio.
