KSEDC Seeks Agencies for Installation of Grid Interactive Hybrid Rooftop Solar Plants in K’taka

The Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd (KSEDC) has invited applications (Expression of Interest or EoI) for empanelment of agencies and EPC contractors for the installation of grid-interactive hybrid solar rooftop power plant.

These hybrid rooftop solar plants will be installed at the nodal agency’s different offices spread across the state of Karnataka on turnkey or EPC contract basis.

Keltron, country’s first and the largest electronics corporation in Karnataka, will be carrying out the bidding process for empanelment of agencies to execute the project.

The tender fee is Rs 590 ( i.e. Rs 500 plus GST) and will be payable online, however, there’s no EMD attached to it. Also, the estimated time period for the completion of the project at Karakulam is 30 days.

Interested bidders can submit their bids latest by June 03, 2020, till 6:00 p.m. while the submitted bids will be opened on June 06, 2020, at 9:00 a.m.

Below are the details for eligibility criteria:

  • The bidder must be a registered company/firm in India and no consortium bid will be eligible.
  • Bids containing products from black-listed companies are not eligible to participate in the tendering process.
  • The bidder will have an office in Kerala and his branch will be operational for the past seven years.
  • The bidder company must have executed hybrid plants in India, and if required, it will allow Keltron to test the product at site.
  • It must have minimum 15 service centers across Karnataka (details of service engineers with name and contact numbers to be provided).
  • The OEM must have installed hybrid inverter plants of cumulative 2.5 MW of capacity in any government organization during the last 5 years.
  • It must be a profit-making company for last 3 years and will have an annual turnover of minimum Rs 40 crore in the last 3 years i.e. 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19. Also, the audited balance sheet for the said period will be submitted.
  • Manufacturers authorization certificate (solar panel, hybrid inverter, battery).
  • Work completion certificate for 2.5 MW hybrid grid-interactive solar power plant duly signed by the end-user.

Earlier, the Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd (Keltron) issued a tender for the supply of solar PV modules, solar inverter and solar battery at the Kerala Legislative Assembly in Trivandrum.
