KP Group’s O&M Portfolio Surpasses 1.9 GW RE Asset With 4 GW More Under Execution

Gujarat based KP Group’s Operations and Maintenance (O&M) vertical delivered strong performance and expanded its renewable energy portfolio. In a stock exchange filing, the company said, “KP Group has an installed base of 1.9+ GW of solar, wind, and hybrid assets across India. It currently has ~4 GW of additional renewable assets under execution, which will be integrated to further strengthen the company’s leadership in O&M services.” With an expanded solar and wind energy base, O&M has emerged as a significant revenue driver for EPC firms in the business as well as dedicated O&M service providers. While some of India's largest developers continue to use their internal teams for O&M, the long term prognosis remains for third party service providers in the business, escept perhaps in wond energy, where there is a higher element of complexity.
