Kosol Energie Signs MoU With Valeo for Supply of PV Ribbon and Busbar

Indian solar module manufacturer Kosol Energie has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Valeo for the supply of solar PV ribbons and busbars, key components used in the production of solar modules.

The agreement was formalized during the recently concluded Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo held in Greater Noida, with senior executives from both companies present. Under the terms of the MoU, Valeo will supply 600 tons of PV ribbons and busbars to Kosol Energie between November 2025 and October 2026.

Kosol's Journey In Solar 

At the same event, Kosol Energie unveiled its new 720 Wp solar modules, designed to optimize space utilization in large-scale solar projects. The company currently operates with a 3.3 GW solar module manufacturing capacity and is also involved in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) work for various solar installations. Kosol further plans to expand into solar trackers and solar structures manufacturing.
