Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd. said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) worth ₹52,000 crore ($6.2 billion) at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) held in Mehsana on Oct. 9–10, 2025, under the leadership of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel.
The agreement, signed in the presence of Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Pralhad Joshi, aims to boost investment in solar, green hydrogen and green ammonia projects across Gujarat, the company said in a statement.
Kosol Energie, led by Chairman and Managing Director Kalpesh Kalathia, said the investment will support new manufacturing facilities, R&D centres and large-scale renewable energy parks, positioning Gujarat as a major hub for India’s clean energy transition.
Green Job Creation
The company said the initiative is expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs and attract international collaboration in renewable energy technology and infrastructure.
“Kosol’s fully automated, world-class solar module manufacturing facility and 2.5 GWp of installed solar PV capacity across India underline our belief in the country’s growing renewable sector,” Kalathia said. “Our investments in solar, green hydrogen and green ammonia aim to make Gujarat a global benchmark for clean energy leadership.”
