Khavda: Adani Green Energy Starts 307.4 MW Power Projects

Adani has set up a 126 MW hybrid project, a 75 MW solar project, and a 50 MW hybrid project. The company has also commissioned several wind projects, including a 31.2 MW wind power project, a 25 MW wind power project, and a 0.2 MW project

Adani Green Energy Limited, through its various step-down subsidiaries, has operationalised an aggregate of 307.4 MW of power projects at Khavda, Gujarat. The company disclosed in a regulatory filing about commissioning these plants, taking AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity to 17,237.2 MW. Based on the relevant clearances, the company operationalises these plants and commences power generation from January 1, 2026. It includes setting up a hybrid wind and solar power plant across Khavda, Gujarat.  The firm has guided for crossing the 25 GW mark in operational capacity by FY 2027.

Adani Green has set up a 126 MW hybrid project through Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited, a 75 MW solar project through Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited, and a 50 MW hybrid project through Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited. In addition, the company has also commissioned several wind projects, including a 31.2 MW wind power project through Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited, a 25 MW wind power project through Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited, and a 0.2 MW wind power project through Adani Renewable Energy Forty One Limited.

Adani Green Commissions Renewable Energy Projects

Adani Green Energy Limited Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashish Khanna has earlier mentioned in an investor call about being committed to commissioning a 5 gigawatt (GW) renewable energy project. In H1, Khanna said the company has been on track to achieve 5 GW more and is currently committed to achieving 5 GW in the current financial year.

He had said, "We do expect another 2.5 GW or more than that coming in this particular H2 of further evacuation. And in totality, if you look out another 9 months, we are expecting somewhere close to 17 gigawatt of capacity coming from Khavda itself."
