Juniper Green Commissions 43 MWp Solar Capacity at Maharashtra Hybrid Project

Juniper Green Energy has commissioned an additional 43 MWp of solar capacity at its hybrid power project in Karanja (Ghadge), Wardha district, Maharashtra, completing the full 103 MWp solar component nearly 16 months ahead of schedule.

The project, developed through subsidiary Juniper Green Power Five Pvt Ltd, supplies electricity to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The solar capacity was delivered in two phases: 59.55 MWp commissioned on June 6, 2025, followed by 43 MWp on July 14, 2025.

Solar Portion In The Project 

The project’s solar portion—part of a larger ~129 MWp hybrid plant—was completed within eight months of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signing, well ahead of the scheduled commercial operation date of November 17, 2026.
