The energy arm of JSW Group, JSW Renewable Applied Sciences, and SANY Renewable Vitality have signed an agreement to manufacture 3.X MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) in India. The company noted in its statement that JSW Renewable Applied Sciences and SANY Renewable Vitality have launched into a pivotal journey, signing an expertise licensing settlement to fabricate 3.X MW Wind Turbines.

According to the media statement, “This strategic partnership underscores a shared dedication in the direction of accelerating the transition to renewable power in India, aiming to boost JSW Vitality’s wind capability and streamline the procurement course for WTGs.”

Further, JSW also noted that “By leveraging SANY Renewable Vitality’s cutting-edge expertise, JSW Renewable Applied Sciences goals to make sure a dependable provide of WTGs is essential for constructing large-scale energy vegetation. This transfer is consistent with JSW Vitality’s formidable targets to succeed in 20 GW of technology capability and 40 GWh of power storage capability earlier than 2030, reflecting a strong dedication to the direction of a sustainable future.”

Recently, JSW Renew Energy Five Limited, has signed a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) for the first project of 250 MW / 500 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System out of the total awarded project capacity of 500 MW / 1,000 MWh (two projects each of 250 MW / 500 MWh) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited. According to the press release by JSW,  the company will be entitled to receive a fixed capacity charge of Rs 10.84 lakhs per MW per month for twelve years for 60 percent of the total capacity amounting to 150MW/300 MWh.

JSW Neo Energy Limited has also received a Letter of Award (LoA) for ISTS-connected solar capacity of 700 MW from SJVN Limited.
