JinkoSolar Holding, one of the world’s largest and innovative solar module makers, has received the Intersolar Award 2019 for its Swan bifacial module having DuPont’s transparent backsheet, under the category of ‘Photovoltaics’ (PV).

The company has won this award as the Jury of the Intersolar Award found the features of it’s Swan bifacial module more significant and efficient.

Its Swan bifacial module features include – it is lighter in weight as compared to glass-glass modules; having comprehensive performance quality; uses Cheetah bifacial half-cut cell technology; and novel utilization of DuPont’s transparent backsheet.

This award is presented every year for companies’ substantial contribution towards the success of the industry; for their technological innovations & groundbreaking solutions using PV technologies.

Moreover, the company claimed that, with an output of up to 400W, these modules are ideal for photovoltaics power plants given that they are optimized to ensure a low levelised cost of electricity (LCOE).

Besides, the Chinese module maker also provides a linear 30 years of performance warranty to its customers. Through this, the company is setting new standards for the power output, energy yield, reliability and LCOE.

Commenting on the award win, JinkoSolar, General Manager Europe, Frank Niendorf said, “This prestigious award is a great honor for our company and speaks to the high level of innovation that we constantly strive to achieve. Our Swan module builds on our core Cheetah cell technology and combines a number of innovations.”
