Jakson Infra, an energy transition platform backed by the Infrastructure and Renewables powerhouse, Jakson Group recently claimed to reach another milestone. The company mentioned that it has successfully commissioned a 500MVA 400/220 power connection with interconnecting Transformer (ICT-1) and its associated bays at the Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) Bikaner-II Substation, on 1 Jan 2024.”

They added, “This critical development, featuring 1X400kV and 3X220kV bays, marks a triumph in their commitment to Powergrid Project Excellence. This project is a leap forward in securing a stable, connected, and resilient energy infrastructure for the future.” 

In 2023, Jakson Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Deendayal Port Authority to set up a green ammonia facility. The project is valued at approximately INR 2400 crore. The green ammonia facility, situated at Kandla Port, Gujarat, will be developed in a phased approach, with a projected annual production capacity of 133,000 tons of green ammonia. Additionally, this endeavor is poised to create more than 5000 jobs including O&M.
