The company, while sharing the details of the recent project in a press release, said, "The renewable energy service provider's projects are located across multiple sites in western India and are plugged into the common infrastructure owned by Inox Green. The agreement involves the conversion of limited-scope to comprehensive O&M for 82 MW of wind projects, as well as the renewal of comprehensive O&M for another 100 MW of wind projects, much ahead of its due renewal. The contract spans the entire balance life of the wind projects."

Company's Leadership View

On this occasion, SK Mathu Sudhana, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Inox Green, remarked, "We are excited to announce the signing of the comprehensive O&M agreements for 182 MW with the renewable arm of one of the largest conglomerates in India. This is a milestone occasion for us as, with the signing of the agreement, our entire fleet with this marquee customer is now back in our fold. This showcases the changing dynamics in the wind O&M industry and the reaffirmation of the trust which our customers are showing on our renewed capabilities.”

Wind Sector Growth

Inox Green, in an investor presentation, shared its perspective on growth in the wind sector. The company noted, “India conducted bids for ~40 GW of AC capacity in FY25 — a mix of solar, wind, and hybrid projects. This included ~18.6 GW solar, ~0.6 GW wind, and ~21 GW hybrid. Wind continues to be one of the cheapest sources of power, much lower than the Average Power Purchase Cost (APPC). Tariffs discovered in recent auctions ranged at ₹3.35/unit for hybrid, ~₹3.65/unit for plain vanilla wind, and ~₹4.8–4.9/unit for FDRE projects.”
