INOX Air Products Private Limited (INOXAP) entered into a long-term partnership with TACC Limited (The Advanced Carbons Company) (TACC) to supply Nitrogen through an onsite Nitrogen plant. In a press release, INOX Air Products said it would use the nitrogen for its upcoming greenfield manufacturing facility in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, India. It will set up the Nitrogen plant on a Build, Own, and Operate (BOO) basis, ensuring a consistent, safe, and high-purity nitrogen supply aligned with TACC’s manufacturing needs.
The industrial and medical gases manufacturer would use the nitrogen supply to enhance its lithium-ion battery-grade graphite anode material production. TACC, one of the leading players in advanced carbon materials, specializes in developing battery-grade synthetic graphite anode materials for electric vehicles and energy storage systems, while also advancing graphene-based derivatives that unlock new possibilities across industries including construction, textiles, paints and other industrial applications.
Previously, INOX Air Products has supplied ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen for Grew Energy’s upcoming 3 GW Solar PV Cell manufacturing facility at Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh through a long-term partnership.
INOX Air Products (INOXAP) also signed a long-term agreement with ReNew Photovoltaics Private Limited to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen to ReNew’s upcoming TOPCON Solar Cell manufacturing facility at Dholera, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. As part of this engagement, INOXAP planned to invest in construction of a state-of-the-art Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Dholera to ensure a and uninterrupted supply of UHP Nitrogen.
