Indore Smart City Issues 2nd Call for Consultants for 100 MW Solar Projects

Indore Smart City has issued the second call for the selection of a consultant for 100 MW varied solar PV power plants at various locations in the city.

The Indore Smart City Development Limited (ISCDL) has issued the second call for the selection of consultant for 100 MW Floating /Ground Mounted/ Rooftop Solar PV Power Plants for ISCDL/ Indore Municipal Corporation at Yashwant Sagar Dam Reservoir, Jalud Water Pumping Station and Various Location.

The last date for submission of proposals in response to the RfP is March 16, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on March 17, 2020. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2 lakh along with their bids.

The project timeline for the selected consultants will include two years of execution period, which will be followed by five years of operation and maintenance period.

In January, ISCDL had issued the first call for the tender, seeking a consultant for 100 MW solar PV power plants at various locations.

Prior to that, the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (RERC) had issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible bidders for the engagement of consultants to provide assistance in framing the ‘RERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff Regulations for Renewables Sources) Regulations for 2020. And for allied works related to the tariff of renewable energy. The regulations are to be put into effect from April 1, 2020.

The primary objective of the project is to assist the commission in reviewing the provisions of the existing renewable tariff regulations considering the developments in the sector during the ongoing control period and analysing the challenges. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 10 lakh, and all bidders had to submit an Ernest Money Deposit of Rs 20 thousand along with their bids.

In December 2019, the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) had issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the engagement of reputed consultants for the 125 MW Phase – I and the 75 MW Phase – II solar projects to be located at Dadanpatrabar, Mania and Dkshin Purusottampur in West Bengal.
