Indofast Energy Joins Hands With Bike Bazaar To Roll Out Over 5,000 EVs In 18 Months

Indofast Energy, a battery-swapping solutions provider, has entered into a partnership with Bike Bazaar, a fleet operator and mobility financier. In a press release, Indofast Energy said it will deploy 5,000 electric two-wheelers across India over the next 18 months.

The company explained, “The move is aimed at accelerating electric vehicle (EV) adoption and reducing the carbon footprint of last-mile delivery operations, while empowering the nation's growing gig economy workforce with sustainable mobility solutions.”

“The large-scale rollout will transform delivery operations across key sectors such as quick commerce, e-commerce, and food delivery. By expanding Indofast’s battery-swapping network to high-demand corridors and emerging geographies, this partnership will reduce downtime, lower operating costs, and enable uninterrupted delivery operations for fleet operators,” Indofast Energy added.

Indofast Energy's Previous Partnership

Sharing the details of the previous partnership, Indofast Energy said it has forged key partnerships to accelerate electric mobility in India. It included the following: "Collaborating with Zypp Electric to deploy 100,000 electric two-wheelers across major cities; partnering with Motovolt to integrate battery-swapping with their MVS7 scooters; establishing 80 swap stations across 25 railway hubs with Indian Railways in Hyderabad and Secunderabad; working with EVeez to deploy 20,000 e-bikes for last-mile delivery; joining forces with Green Tiger Mobility to offer petrol-to-electric retrofit solutions for existing two-wheelers; and collaborating with BESCOM to create battery-swapping centers throughout Bengaluru."
