Indofast Energy, E-SPRINTO Partner To Deploy 20,000 Electric Two-Wheeler By 2026

This alliance is a pivotal step in Indofast Energy’s roadmap to deploy 2,750 swap stations and support 1.5 lakh vehicles by March 2026, with a long-term goal to establish 10,000 swapping points across more than 40 Indian cities in the next three years.

Indofast Energy, E-SPRINTO Partner To Deploy 20,000 Electric Two-Wheeler By 2026

India's battery-swapping solutions provider, Indofast Energy, has entered into a partnership with e-Sprinto, an electric two-wheeler brand. This collaboration aims to deploy 20,000 electric two-wheelers across India by 2026.

In a press release, while sharing these details, Indofast Energy explained that the role of this alliance is to accelerate India’s electric mobility adoption and reduce the carbon footprint of last-mile delivery operations. It is also estimated to empower India's burgeoning gig economy workforce with sustainable, efficient, and accessible transportation solutions.

Indofast Energy explained that the role of this collaboration is to seamlessly integrate e-Sprinto’s rapidly expanding electric vehicles with Indofast Energy's extensive battery-swapping network across the country. This synergy offers delivery partners a two-minute battery swap solution, effectively eliminating range anxiety and charging downtime, it added.

The company explained that the recent rollout aims to support delivery operations across the quick commerce, e-commerce, and food delivery sectors by establishing crucial battery-swapping infrastructure along high-demand corridors. The company expects this to not only slash operating costs for businesses but also ensure uninterrupted service delivery for the nation's vital gig economy workforce.

Indofast Energy’s Previous Projects

This alliance is being considered as a pivotal step in Indofast Energy’s roadmap to deploy 2,750 swap stations and support 1.5 lakh vehicles by March 2026, with a long-term mission of establishing 10,000 swapping points across more than 40 Indian cities in the next three years. Today, the company has established its network of over 1,000 battery-swapping stations in 10 states and 22 cities across India.

The company has previously collaborated with leading vehicle partners, including Zypp, Omega Seiki Mobility, Shadowfax, Triev, Wickedride, Green Drive,  Eveez, Hala Mobility, Rapido, Whizz, bluwheelz Loadshare, and Bike Bazaar, along with key infrastructure partners such as IOCL, Indian Railways, BESCOM, DTL, BRPL, BYPL, STATIQ, Power Pod, BMRCL, MMRC and HMR, all aimed at accelerating electric mobility adoption across India.
