Green Stocks Sep 29- No Convincing Move From Green pack Yet

With just a day before the month ends, and on the first day of a shortened trading week, the markets continue their search for a clear direction. Hopes were high of a recovery today after six consecutive days of drops, and we saw that see-saw between drops and gain through the day. For the green pack, though, it remains a matter of biding time till results come out. 

Newly listed Saatvik Solar mounted a smart recovery of sorts, but Vikram Solar continued to struggle and continues to trade below the IPO price. Acme Solar has started a move yet again to get close to, cross, and hopefully stay above the Rs 300 level, all things being equal. ie, solid Q2 result, broader market sentiment, and perhaps, at least one order win announcement by then. Will that happen? Time will tell. 
NTPC Green slipped below the Rs 100 mark too, even as the other PSU in our list, SJVN, also struggled to escape a downward push.

Interestingly, Waaree RTL diverged strongly from Waaree Energies, as the EPC player from the group did well even as the parent manufacturing firm continued to suffer the worries from US news of investigations. 

KPI Green Energy and Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy had no such luck, as both these stocks that have lost over 10% in the past week continued their struggles to escape the bear grip.

Adani Green also failed to build on the momentum from last week. With September updates due starting this week, and the implications of Q2 results marking the end of the first half of the year, there is still hope that good results will reassure investors to return to green stocks in a big way.
