Green Stocks Sep 22- Saatvik Solar, GK Energy IPOs Sail Through

Even as markets continued to display weakness, the IPOs of two more solar firms, Saatvik Solar, a manufacturer, and GK Energy, a service provider in the solar pumps space, sailed through with a say to spare. This level of investor optimism says more about expectations and optimism around the renewable sector than any stock movement could at this stage. 

On the stock side, the Adani Group served as a reminder of their glory days, with a strong move in group stocks today. Adani Green, part of our pack, was up over 10 %, even as Adani Power, another group firm in the thermal power business, enjoyed an even stronger day. Solar glass maker Borosil Renewables was the other firm to enjoy a strong day, even as most of the stocks in our pack continued to retreat and surrender whatever gains were made last week. It doesn't make for a pretty picture, but the performance of the two solar IPOs indicates that the right valuation and metrics can still attract investors.
