As the stock market closed ahead of the Budget announcement, green stocks delivered a mixed performance.
Shares of companies such as Acme Solar gained on the back of positive financial results, while NTPC Green fell more than 6% following reporting a loss in profit within its Q3 results.
Vikram Solar and Sterling and Wilson also recorded gains of over 2%, along with Oswal Pumps, which rose more than 4% during the trading session. It remains to be seen how green stocks will perform when the market reopens on February 1.
