Green Stocks October 3- Stocks Consolidate As Hopes Rise Of Recovery

With  positive words from the RBI and strong GST collections boosting sentiment, the markets arrested the steep drops of the past few sessions, and smaller stocks especially had a decent day today. Borosil Renewables was the runaway winner today, even as Waaree Energies and other manufacturing stocks also mounted strong recoveries. A broader recovery in the market will be very positive for green stocks, as many of these stocks benefit from recovery, or positive sentiments in core sectors.

Strong installation numbers for the solar rooftop scheme of the government also point to a robust demand for domestic modules, even as corporate and industrial segment demands continue to be high. 

Developers like Adani Green managed to stay in positive territory despite news of issues with a large 7 GW contract with the Andhra government, thanks mainly to the strong momentum in its capacity commissionings in September.  The firm is well on its way to a record year in terms of capacity additions. 

On the IPO front, recent IPO's like Vikram Solar, Saatvik Solar and GK Energy also recovered lost ground, in a good sign for the waiting firms in the IPO list.
