Green Stocks Feb 9- Green Pack Races Ahead Of Market

With broader indices rising post the framework agreement details with the US, the green pack  kicked ahead of the broader indices as well as the small cap and Mid-cap indices, as they raced ahead to record strong gains. As you will see from the list, many made up for lost time with gains of over 4%, with almost all other than Pace Digitek, which incidentally announced its results on Sunday, recording gains.  

As always, this being the first day of the week, we would like to see gains sustaining for two or more sessions before calling a halt on the bottom for the green pack, even as the signal for the pack is increasingly more green than amber. 

The EPC pack has probably got the most catching up to do, while large developers will move based on overall power demand growth, followed by their ability to add storage along with solar and wind energy to their portfolio. Large manufacturing firms , especially solar, can look ahead to at least two more quarters of strong margins and volumes, before the market assesses the impact of the ALCM order by the end of Q1, FY 27. Wind energy firms of course face a much more complicated situation, with a strong order book but low accretion expected in the coming quarters. So results will be good, but the future outlook beyond Fy 27 is certainly a lot more hazy than many would admit.

And Pace Digitek? We reckon the firm is just a quarter away from demonstrating that it's strong order book, equal to over 2 years worth of revenues at current levels of growth, is a real money engine that deserves more respect than current valuations.
