Borosil Renewables Plunges While Most Green Stocks Record Marginal Increase
As markets expectedly corrected after a multiple session run, green stocks also took a breather today, mostly, Waaree Energies, which had spiked as high as 18% yesterday before settling with 14% gains, corrected further today, though it will remain in focus after the optimistic guidance provided by the firm for Fy26.
Sterling and Wilson Renewable, expected to announce its results today, will probably do so after market hours, though it is also expected to deliver a much improved performance over last year. That might be the cue for KPI Green as well as Shakti Pumps to make a move as well, as those two EPC firms are set to announce results only in May now.
Wind energy firm Inox Green had a strong day on the back of visible progress on its orders execution, even as Suzlon also found fresh support at Rs 60 levels to stay at a comfortable place.
The big question is, will this mini-recovery be good enough to bring back all the green energy firms with IPO plans? We imagine no, as it might need a Nifty closing above 25K levels to make many firms comfortable about both subscription and valuations. Will that happen by May? It is any body's guess, with the Month is traditionally a slow one, so don't count on it.
