Global solar technology company Hoymiles showcased its full range of solar and energy storage products at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025, underscoring its plans to scale up operations and deepen its presence in the Indian market.
The company exhibited solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications under the theme “Smart Energy, Global Vision.”
“India’s solar and storage market is growing rapidly, driven by policy support and rising demand for reliable energy transition solutions,” a Hoymiles spokesperson said. “We aim to contribute through advanced microinverter and storage technologies supported by a strong local network.”
Hoymiles, the world’s largest microinverter supplier outside the United States and a BloombergNEF Tier 1 energy storage manufacturer, has partnered with Indian distributors including Sun Solista, Impulse, and Pearl Energy to build a regional sales and service network, the firm said.
Growing Presence in India
The company said its HINV350HX-G2 string inverter for utility-scale solar plants has achieved cumulative shipments exceeding 200 MW in India. Its “Solar Desh Yatra” roadshow has covered 63 cities to engage with installers and customers, while its recent “One-stop Smart Energy Center” launch in New Delhi introduced integrated solar-plus-storage solutions across segments.
Product Highlights
At the expo, Hoymiles displayed its MiT-5000-8T large three-phase microinverter for high-power residential and commercial rooftops, offering 5,000 W output with four independent MPPTs and enhanced safety through low DC voltage operation.
The HIT series three-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter, combined with LB batteries, provides whole-home backup power with millisecond-level switchover through its Emergency Power Supply feature.
For utility-scale projects, the HINV350HX-G2 inverter features six MPPTs, each supporting 75 A DC input current and 99.99% dynamic MPPT efficiency, while the HPCS2500 2.5 MW grid-forming PCS offers stability under weak grid conditions and supports black start capability.
Local Engagement and Support
Developers and EPC contractors in India praised Hoymiles’ quick technical response and localized engineering support. “Their prompt system design and on-site commissioning significantly shorten project delivery time,” a New Delhi-based EPC firm said.
Commitment to India’s Energy Transition
Hoymiles said it will continue to expand partnerships, strengthen local service operations, and promote product localization to support India’s clean energy goals.
“India is one of the most dynamic solar and storage markets globally,” the company said. “We are committed to helping build a smarter, cleaner, and more efficient energy ecosystem.”
